Bucket of wires

If we take a moment to compare our Series 3 with the uber high tech Land Rover models in today’s showrooms, it’s unlikely that the miles of wiring and electronics inside a Velar, Disco, or even the New Defender would fit in a single bucket. ;)

Alec disconnected each connector one-by-one, including the dashboard instruments, rear lights, indicators, cabin lights, and windshield wipers and gathered the mangled spaghetti of wires into a black plastic bucket.

One guarantee for the restoration will be that we give the wires a final rest and replace them with a fresh string.

The plastic dashboard came off with the removal of the final bolt attachment to the bulkhead.
