Divya Bolisetty is a travel enthusiast who has lived and travelled across India, exploring cities and villages from Kashmir, paradise on earth, to the UNESCO World Heritage site Hampi. She has come to love the fusion of colours, palates, lifestyles, traditions, and ethos of the melting pot that India is. After switching from a career in corporate communications to freelance writing, she has written for a variety of websites, magazines, and social media.

Thérèse-Marie Becker

Thérèse-Marie Becker is an intrepid adventurer, storyteller, and event organiser whose escapades span from Kyrgyzstan’s rugged passes to Turkey’s ancient trails. Born in Belgium’s forested Ardennes and now settled in southwestern France, she once piloted the legendary “Oxford” Series I Land Rover from Singapore to London. When not orchestrating overlanding gatherings, she’s often found hunting in the wild or spinning campfire tales with a fine cigar and whisky in hand. Guided by “Feet on the ground, hands at work, eyes toward the sky” and hic et nunc, Thérèse-Marie carries a timeless flair into every new pursuit.

Chris Beight

Chris Beight spent a large portion of his adult life living abroad and traveling overseas. He was a personal trainer for ten years before he decided to rebuild an ex-military truck in Australia and hit the road full-time with his partner Ange and two-year old son Oakley. Chris uses his previous skill-set to not only maintain a healthy lifestyle on the road but also to help others do the same. Recently moving to Sweden, he completed the rebuild of a 1975 ex-military Volvo 6x6 truck and is now gunning for the warmer weather of Spain for the winter.

Matt Buckley

Matt has a passion for the outdoors whether on foot, two wheels or by paddle. After a brief trip into the bike racing scene, Matt armed himself with an OS map and a sense of adventure, and decided the endless miles of trails in the Scottish highlands were more his idea of a good day out.Never one to sit still (or indoors), he can often be found riding and hiking in foul weather, testing the latest bit of kit or just out for a good time. Having spent his formative years loitering around the local bike shop rather than sneaking into the pub, he’s spent far too long tinkering and fixing his ever evolving fleet of bikes so at least one of them is in a fit state to be ridden on an unsuitable adventure, such a bike packing across Sweden. When Matt isn’t riding bikes or walking up hills, he’s a freelance photographer specialising in the hospitality and outdoor sectors and can be found shooting for clients across the country.

Charles Forman

Charles is the founder and curator of explmore. He is also the proud son of Alec and Jan Forman, the authors of the book Strangers Like Angels - With a Devil or Two to Boot and the inspiration behind the creation of explmore. He has spent the majority of his life living outside his original passport country. Today, when he is not running the operations behind explmore you will find him hiking, camping and enjoying the outdoors (overlanding of course) with his family.

Alec and Jan Forman

Alec and Jan are the authors of Strangers Like Angels - With a Devil or Two to Boot. They are world travelers, having traveled to over 80 countries combined, and have spent their professional careers working in rural development projects in West Africa and Eastern Europe. They have been married since 1974 and enjoy the delights of being grandparents. They enjoy sharing their experiences and inspiring others to seek out life-changing adventure.
