Kelsey and I often describe our desire to explore as "Around the corner fever." We always seem to want to bag one more turn or crest one more hill. It's an endless pursuit that makes us want to travel further and meet more interesting people along the way. We've often experienced the kindness of strangers and we hope to give as much as we receive while we travel. That "fever" culminated in us recently quitting our jobs (Except for our jobs as instructors at Overland Expo) to live in our Land Cruiser and spend a year seeing where the road takes us. The goal is only to stick to dirt, meet locals and use their information to determine our route, and try to find our own unique views and campsites as we go. Starting with an old favorite we'll begin in Baja and head southward, meandering where we feel like going. We know it will be an interesting year... or more.
