There is no better feeling than waking up in your tent in the morning, alone in the mountains, getting on your motorcycle and hitting the open road! Everyday is an adventure and you never know where you'll end up, who you are going to meet and what challenges you are going face. The best part of travelling for me is meeting new people from all over the world, and discovering what life is like in different cultures and sharing stories and experiences everywhere I go. Travelling by motorcycle gives me the complete freedom to do that!
We live in a world where people spend most of the day staring into the screen of a smartphone, spending less time actually interacting with each other. A world where the media tells us how scary and dangerous the world is. So my goal is to travel the world on two wheels and to show everyone that the world really is not a scary place, and that there are good people everywhere. Hopefully I can encourage more people to go out and explore the world and see just how beautiful and amazing it is!
I'm doing this particular trip to raise money and awareness for Crohn's and Colitis UK, as my close friend India sadly passed away from Ulcerative Colitis at only 22! She didn't get the chance to explore the world, so I hope I can make her proud! I'm also hoping to break the world record and become the youngest person to circumnavigate the world solo and unsupported at 21 years old! I may be travelling solo, but in this wonderful world you're never alone! Every single day I am blown away by the kindness of strangers and cant wait to see what tomorrow will bring!
